For Rosi Braidotti, in order to move away from hierarchical relations, a form of ‘estrangement and radical repositioning on the part of the subject’ is needed. In Yihao Zhang’s work, it can be seen that an estrangement and reposition of the subject is seen through a mechanical lens.
